Bean Sidhe Loves Carrots

My last post probably gave the impression that my dog's life is spent anxiously trying to stay close to me. The reality is that she is usually lying next to me or in my lap, snoozing in her comfy bed next to my desk, or gleefully asking for her favorite treat -- baby carrots. She absolutely loves carrots. I wish I liked healthy snacks as much as she does! :)

Last video of my dog. Promise!

  1. Wee cutie. <3 My dog (Lhasa apso) is similarly getting on in age, and has had a lot of health problems over the past year. Nonetheless, this has not stopped him being as greedy, awkward and demanding as he has always been. Good thing that we love him!

    1. Ha ha... I can relate. Bean Sidhe is more mellow in her old age, but her underlying personality has not changed. She still insists on her nightly carrot treat and eats her regular food like a vacuum cleaner. And she always asks to go outside the minute I sit down and get settled. :P

  3. I love these videos of your little furry baby, so cute. You wouldn't believe she's elderly from the carrot enthusiasm, but I feel a little sorry for her losing her senses and feeling lost without you near.

    1. Thanks! Overall, she is quite spry for her age (she is on medication for arthritis). I have to say, she handles her fading sight much better than I do. While I worry and even cry over it, she just gets on with life. Dogs are awesome like that.

  4. Your dog likes carrots, my bird likes steak. What crazy, mixed up animals! <3

  5. That's a lot of dancing for a little carrot.

  6. That's too cute for words. The build-up is amazing! Such bliss, over a baby carrot!

    1. I suppose I should be immune to her cuteness after 16 years, but she still makes me laugh with her carrot antics. Dogs get so much joy from small things. It's a good life lesson for us humans. :)
