Snow and Glow

This morning, I awoke to a lovely autumn snowscape. My pumpkin lights were topped with snow. Cute!
I amused myself with possible captions for this photo:
"My snow beret is tres jaunty, non?"
"Brain freeze!"
"If pumpkin pie can wear whipped cream, so can I!"
"The elusive Jack O'Poodle"
"This Halloween, I'm going as Marie Antoinette's head."
Or perhaps simply "Happy Halloween from Colorado!"

In other news, I treated myself to one more t-shirt. This one glows in the dark.

  1. OMG, you got snow already! We've had flurries but nothing has stuck to the ground yet. Brain freeze is my favourite. :o)

    1. It was the best kind of snow -- an overnight snowfall that blankets the ground but doesn't stick to the roads. :)

  2. Yipes, this is giving me flashbacks of last year and the year before! Right after Sandy the temps dropped dramatically and it snowed the weekend after the horrible storm. The year before we had a blizzard the night before Halloween, canceling trick-or-treating for much of the Tri-State area. Here's hoping that we won't get anything except night weather ... the kidlets deserve a good year hauling candy.

I like you captions! :) The pumpkin pie one is my favorite.

    1. Storms and blizzards for Halloween = bad! You guys deserve especially good weather Halloween this year. Clear, calm and temperate should do the trick (or treat). ;)

      Mmmm... pumpkin pie.

  4. Your quotes are delightful :D You got snow before me! We have a very cold -8 Celcius degrees with heavy frost on the trees. The frost paints the landscape in a grey colour sceme but except those trees with yellow leaves left. It looks odd. Like someone dropped colour randomly over a black and white photo.

    1. Sounds lovely! We had a heavy fog with the full moon last night. Very spooky and appropriate for the season. :)
