By snugging the rod up to the window frame to block light, you do sacrifice easy sliding of the curtain.J.Banehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17195276109146618481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9176007711635280067.post-16723906565313578122018-02-05T03:25:13.061-07:002018-02-05T03:25:13.061-07:00How did you affix the curtains to the tension rod ...How did you affix the curtains to the tension rod so they slide back and forth please?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11165702674570579655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9176007711635280067.post-56894993404543798402017-02-13T23:36:58.190-07:002017-02-13T23:36:58.190-07:00This was so useful! My curtains allow light leakage from the top and the sides and it's so annoying. I did not know that you could set up a cafe rod to eliminate the extra light. I will get a carpenter to install one immediately. That cafe rod is a lifesaver.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04836373510989182172noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9176007711635280067.post-32470704010184452722016-06-08T20:13:04.493-06:002016-06-08T20:13:04.493-06:00Thanks! It's pretty far away, but I swear it must have 30 bulbs, it's so bright. :P But the main issue is that my window faces east, so the sun blasts in first thing in the morning. Not pleasant for this night owl. :)J.Banehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17195276109146618481noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9176007711635280067.post-91604646682808248452016-04-12T21:12:07.870-06:002016-04-12T21:12:07.870-06:00I like curtains in the bedroom but have blinds in ...I like curtains in the bedroom but have blinds in other rooms.
